PostHeaderIcon Search Engine Tweets

There is so much hoo ha about Twitter kill Google and Twitter being the future lookup tool. Every single article that you read about Twitter is that they do things in real time, real time discussions and buzz, which is something that Google’s results do not actually do and do not really supply for at the moment.

Google has responded with so many different methods, the most recent being feeding in Twitter results into the SERPs and having the option to bring in results that were updated in the last hour. But in my personal opinion twitter is a social site like any other site. There are a few downsides to the service in my opinion which are as follows.

Information

The information and the news is all very well and good being in real time, but what if someone wants to read up on older information, can they really do that? No they simply cannot, because it’s all in real time and sites are actually never crawled and indexed, it is going to be very hard.

Products

Now this in my opinion is the main killer for Twitter and it’s something that Google are doing wrong too. Google are now trying to bring in more real time results and results which are current that people have just posted or talked about. Every non tech person (the mass user) I know uses either EBay, Google or Amazon to buy something, with Google probably being the first choice. They do this because it is hassle free, its so easy to type into search and away you go. Two it’s relevant, Google have never let me down when I want to purchase something, they deliver the most trusted sites to me. Now what could these product searches do alternatively? Search on Twitter and get conversations? No thanks, or create an account and ask your 0 followers to aid you? Or I know, grow your network communicate with people you do not know and ask them, but why? Why would anyone do that? People have busy lives and they do not have adequate time to forever update their tweets. What easier solution then to go to Google and type in what you are looking for, does it have to be genuine time. No, not at all, trusted products from trusted sites which have reinforced that trust with hard work and ingenious advertising.

PostHeaderIcon Twitter Users Are More Mobile In Their Communication?

Twitter is a free social network that works as a microblogging platform (you can post short messages under 140 characters). Twitter users are allowed to update information about their work, current activity and links. These updates are posted on your own page and are visible to those who follow you. You can send messages and communicate online in a fast and effective way.

Twitter can be used to meet people with similar interests and visions. It is also a very effective marketing tool. In addition, this social network helps you to save time and money, being free to use. Instead of sending mobile messages and calling everybody, you can just write some lines on Twitter.

If you’re not sure about sharing your thoughts to everybody, you can choose to have a private profile and share your thoughts only to those who are your friends. As in any social network, there is the possibility to customize your profile page and pictures.

What do you understand by tweets? Tweets are the messages posted on your profile page, which are accessible to your followers. Keep in mind that you can follow an unlimited number of persons. It’s essential to gain exposure.

Whenever someone decides to follow you, you will be notified by e-mail. In this case, you must follow that person, block or ignore him.

Twitter means more than information. It is a great way to interact with new people and make new friends. Twitter lets you to send direct messages to followers, to share your ideas to everybody or to “retweet” (re-posting of someone else’s tweet).

Being an excellent marketing channel, Twitter is used by increasingly more companies and organizations and by employees who want to create a personal brand. By taking advantage by this amazing marketing tool, people worldwide promote their services and skills.  Many twitter users have their own blogs.  They will typically paste a twitter follow me button right into their theme to attract relevant followers who share their interests.
