Over the last couple of years, Mark Hoverson has emerged as an important leader in the MLM profession.  Mark at first struggled with traditional home business strategies – home meetings, hotel briefings, and burning through lists of his friends and family.

I can definitely give Mark the clear definition of a legitimate online businessman who knows his stuff.  In preparation for this article, I ran into a Rip-Off Report where someone was complaining about getting scammed by Mark online.  However, they were just promoting their own company.

If you do decide to join Mark Hoverson’s MLM team, you’ll find that one thing he will do is give you EXTENSIVE training on how to be successful in your business – step by step and in a way that you can understand.  Just because Mark Hoverson is a fantastic online marketer does not mean you should drink the coolaid and decide to join his team, however.  You need to do your own due diligence and decide what the right strategy is for you.  I need to be clear here – no matter who you join (Mark Hoverson or your uncle Bob) you’re going to need to work like crazy and learn new skills if you want to be successful in your new business.

In fact, you may find that Mark Hoverson’s team isn’t the right team for you at all, and it is important that you look at ALL of the various factors when you’re making your decision.  For example, it is my opinion that you could get more value elsewhere in the online business world.  That’s not to take away from Mark or what he’s done – I simply would rather put my time, energy, and money into a more profitable business model with a simpler online marketing system.

When it comes down to it, you need to weigh all of the facts, do your research, and then decide to commit in whatever direction you head.

In all my years in the MLM profession, I’ve never met a better sponsor than Tom Challan.There are still, however, some positives and negatives to Tom’s teachings.

Who is Tom Challan?

Tom Challan is a MLM guru who works in association with Dani Johnson. Tom Challan is one of the greatest sponsors of al time – sponsoring more than 500 people in a year of part time work. He owns a lead company, Earn Pro, and he also offers weekly On the Job Training (O.J.T.) – which is Tom, dialing prospects live.

What does he teach?

Like many MLM gurus, Tom stays focused on the basics: prospecting, closing, and presenting using third party systems. Tom used to work with Dani Johnson with his prospecting and closing classes – charging $297 for each four week class. Tom Challan’s prospecting classes are made up mostly of live role playing mixed with one on one training. Dani Johnson is now personally offering the classes again, and Tom is more focused on building his lead company and doing his weekly OJT calls.

He has a simple, direct prospecting method that is comprised of basic open ended questions, listening, and following up with a simple script. He focuses on adapting the style of conversation to the personality type of the prospect, and building a strong rapport.

Tom’s method is unique in the world of MLM. Prospecting and closing is the world of Tom Challan – as all menial tasks are outsourced to more capable individuals.

In one year, Tom Challan grew an MLM organization from start to 20,000 people while working only part time.

Is Tom Challan the real deal?

I got a chance to personally meet Tom Challan on several occasions at various Dani Johnson events I attended in 2008. Tom’s simple, unique approach has created massive success in the MLM profession for thousands of people who have studied his techniques.

I would have to say that Tom is one of the best examples in the MLM profession.

There is one thing that would be greatly beneficial if you decide to use Tom Challan’s method:

Tom recommends doing a majority of your recruiting from purchased leads.
