One sad thing about the human condition is that we are not honest all the time. It is a sad thing to know that people have the tendency to lie and to cheat on their spouse sometimes.  Or your kids could be lying to you about the people that they are hanging out with.  In times past you really couldn’t monitor this.  But with the advance of information and the internet you now can.

Take a cheating spouse for example.They may have been able to escape from being caught with these things in the past.  But now a careless cheating spouse could be caught by the numbers on their phone. As you may know, all mobile phones has a feature of keeping records of a lot of calls. Well if you do a reverse lookup by phone number a spouse that suspects that their lover is cheating can find out who that unknown number is. You used to not be able to do that.  You would have to usually call the number to find out who it is. Not anymore.

Or in your children’s case.It seems that all teens nowadays have a cell phone.Well it is but natural that we, as parents, would want to know who our kids are trying to hang out with.Or what’s worse is when we want to know if they are hanging out with older people. Just like with cheating spouses we can look at their phone records and do a reverse cell phone number look up and see just exactly who our kids are contacting.If the names that would appear are all familiar then we can breathe a sigh of relief.BUt if there are unknown names then we can investigate further.

Obviously, doing some investigations is now easier to perform due to advances in technology.
